Pour-over

Aim

Learn water passing through coffee.

Start

Start with 15 g coffee, 240 g water, medium grind, water just off boil, 2.5-4 minutes.

Do

  • Rinse filter.
  • Pour steadily.
  • Keep notes on time.

Bloom

The first small pour wets the coffee and lets gas escape. Use about twice the coffee weight in water, then wait 30-45 seconds.
